Anders Krusberg
Sophie Flay grew up in New York City, surrounded by some of the best chefs and restaurants in the world. The daughter of acclaimed Food Network star and culinary icon Bobby Flay, Sophie is currently a community journalist for ABC7 in Los Angeles, a position the young reporter secured shortly after graduating from the University of Southern California, with a degree in broadcast and digital journalism. Sophie previously interned for TODAY Show, where she worked the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Flay has previously appeared alongside her father on his popular Food Network shows, including Beat Bobby Flay and Brunch @ Bobby’s, as well as on Food Network’s Snapchat Discover. Sophie can be seen alongside her father on two series: The Flay List and Bobby and Sophie on the Coast. These feature Bobby and Sophie teaming up to show each other some of their favorite local tried-and-true eateries and classic dishes in NYC and LA. In her spare time Sophie has a passion for global travel and enjoys attending concerts as well as trying new restaurants.
